0.637 seconds - a new Rubik's Cube machine world record!

Infineon chips helped breaking the current Rubik's Cube machine world record of 0.89 seconds - the new world record set by our Sub1 high performance robot counts 0.637 seconds. As the process went on very fast and was thus hard to catch by the human eye, here is a slow motion video showing you in detail how we broke the record. 5. Marketing department fails, could have been so much more viral with music or a sound effect.
  6. blink and you might just miss it 😂
  7. If you move this video in step. It's not 0.637s, but 0.617s.
  8. While it's impressive, I don't see how it's an official record. Unless there is a section for solving modified cubes.
  9. We're finally TASing real life, It's a dream come true!
  10. Method please LOL
  11. It's not a rubik's cube when this thing has cross-slots for inserting torque arms into it. Go back to the drawing board and come back with a 'proper' design (like everybody else) before claiming speed records. Otherwise, specifically state that the 'record' is based on an externally-modified rubik's cube, which is not a genuine rubik's cube at all.
  12. (sips coffee)

I wonder how fast it would be if they used WeiLong GTS, GANS 356 AIR, VALK3, or maybe cubicle premiums of those
  13. Just curious... is the system given the cube's start configuration prior to the solve, so basically, 1) does it solve it before it starts moving, 2) when the button is pressed, does it solve it and plan out the next ten or so moves until done, or 3)does it solve it say five steps at a time, 4) hows does it compare to humans in this aspect. I have never solved a cube, and i expect i probably plan three steps ahead. 6)How does a human solve it? i) Do they look at it and have the solution at the very start or ii) is it an iterative process?
  14. Wow
  15. cool :-)
  16. wow
  17. woah
  18. whats its main?
  19. The most impressive thing to me with this is that the cube was solved with just 21 moves. "God's Algorithm" is I believe just 20 moves. Does anyone know what algorithm is being used here?
  20. chaless es FAKE todo esto , todo mexicano sabe que alo me refiero, estó claramente se me que el preograma que usa este BOT esta configurado para resolverlo rapido . adémas se nota que el cubo esta puesto facil para que lo resuelva...
