  3. Wow
  4. 405 for the last lap and 1312 for the last 5k is beyond reasonable even for world class athletes
  5. They screwed the distance runners in Atlanta, they made the track hard as concrete so Michael Johnson and the sprinters could set records. A bunch of the distance runners got hurt in the qualifying rounds running on such a hard track. Gebrselassie was tough enough to survive it.
  6. Great athlete Haile
  7. Two Of The Great Distance Runners Of All Time , No Doubt "Bout That. Go Gab, Go Tergat!
  8. Haile wouldve broken the world record at this race if the first half of the race wouldve been faster.
  9. Love the wooden stick on Haile´s flag :D

  16. commentator said it was Bikila of Ethiopia in 4th place (not Bekele) - a bit confusing anyway because the official results show that he came in 17th place in a time of 28:59

  18. The master!
  19. Grande Haile!!
  20. It is 2013 and still Haille still has it in him to yet give another performance in a major marathon which may perhaps be his last.
