Through this system, children are taught discipline and education to become smart, mature and responsible adults. That’s the goal for any school in the world at least. We want to make sure these children are capable to be the best they can be in terms of education. However, we question if educators are teaching these young children the right material. Our teachers told us a lot of things in the classroom. We were supposed to raise our hands before using the bathroom and we were going to use cursive for the rest of our lives. Who even writes in cursive anymore? No one! That’s why we tend to be rather skeptical if teachers are capable to teach our students accurate things about the past or present. But we understand how difficult it might be to teach so many students at such a young age. We are not sure why children end up learning things that are not actually accurate. While it doesn’t seem like a big deal to most folks, you might still be shocked to learn about the real truth of common things you were taught in school. You will be surprised on why your teachers left out this important information from some of your favorite lessons in class. The funny thing is that these little school lies happened to many, many education institutions across the world. For example, when we learned about Thomas Edison, we thought he invented the light bulb. And was Napoleon really short? There is a little misunderstanding on whether apes evolved into humans or if America really did have 13 original colonies. Was Queen Cleopatra even Egyptian? You cannot believe on what teachers always get wrong in school. While it’s easy to make mistakes on talking about stories in the past, these misconceptions seem too important to miss. We might think some lessons were exaggerated for the sake of entertaining bored children. We have no idea how some of these topics were told wrong, but get ready for a quick school lesson.
