Comments

  1. Nice subbed
  2. why dont these nowadays nba players try to break these record they dont seem impossible #imo everyone cant be the next mj, kobe or LeBron or even win a championship but u can atleast have your name in the nba history books that's a feat by itself just saying
  3. Manute Bol has done around 30 blocks in a game, but i do not think it was an nba game
  4. where the hell Is mj?
  5. OMG THE SONG, I FELT I WAS THE ONLY NBA FAN THAT LIKED ROCK, I LOVE YOU NOW
  6. none of these records will ever be broken. Not the way the game is played today. The only one that even has a chance is probably the scoring record only because their is a three point line now. When Chamberlain did it, there was no threes.
  7. My NBA 2K15 Player scored 120 points in 1 game, 55 in the first half, and 65 in the second half, he is only 6'6 tall and made 49 out of his 69 shots in that game, he is the new boss, Wilt is 2nd
  8. Klay Thompson 37 Pts In 3rd quarter !
  9. Wilt Chamberlin did it all though!!! 59 points in one half, 55 rebounds in 1 game, and 100 points in one game!!!
  10. People often forget the NBA and the sport scene has changed so much in 40 years,  making it impossible to compare two eras. I don't disregard yesterday's athletes, because I was born in the mid 60s, but the NBA pace changed so much after the three-point line adoption/rules change!

In the 60s and 70s, you see on a daily basis teams grabbing ober 70 rebounds per night.  In fact, 30 teams did grabbed over 70 TRB/G for a whole season in those two decades. For an example, the 1959-1960 Celtics grabbed 80.2 TRB/G all season long. After the three-point line adoption in 1979, no team grabbed over 50TRB/G...

Scoring. Once again, 60s and 70s teams allowed more points than what we use to see today. In the 1960 decade, teams allowed over 115PPG (decade record), while teams in the 1961-1962 season allowed an unspoken 118.1 PPG (season record)...

Giving the fact, the pace is now slower and players get bigger and stronger, Wilt or any great NBA greats wouldn't be able to put those staggering numbers (PPG, BLK, TRB, etc.). They could dominate for sure, but Wilt would never scored 100 points in a game today. When he scored 100PTS,  the final score after 48 minutes was : 169 to 147...
  11. Unless you have 2k14
  12. Kobe had 15 rebounds in 2010 finals game 7
  13. Well, Kobe got pretty close to 2 of them. In his 81 point game, he had 55 in the 2nd half :)
  14. Nice job on this one! :)
  15. Kobe came damn close to that 59 points in a half. Personally, the only record that that is impressive to me is the 30 assist by skiles. The rest were all done in the same era for a reason, . Just do some back ground research on the chamberlain 100 point game and you might realize how much of a circus that game was. I don't think chamberlains 100 points is unbreakable, I don't even consider it the best scoring performance ever, considering what I learned about how he scored 100.
  16. I think the assist record well.be broken first
  17. considering the fact that chamberlain blocked 26 against detroit,25 in the playoffs and 23 at the age of 30 against phoenix,i believe that blocking more than 17 is possible.
  18. 8 and 17 blocks will be broken someday, no doubt Ibaka for example made 10 or more blocks 3 times or McGee made 12 blocks... it's pretty close, they just need some luck As for assists, we have some players in today's NBA who can do it, like Rondo, Paul or Rubio, but it much depends on scorers 18, 32 and 55 rebs I think will be never broken. Today, if player grabs 27 in a game, it regards as unbelievable result And if the second Kobe or Wilt come to NBA, 100 and 59 points will be broken.
  19. @samtheman7975 That was supposed to be 73 games in one season....unbelievable, imo.
  20. @samtheman7975 Agreed but the 100 point game isn't the most unbreakable. Wilt's 78 point 43 rebound game is more unbreakable then his 100 point game. Or his 4,024 points in a season. 55 rebounds is also very unbreakable. Probably more so then any is this one though and it has nothing to do with the era he played in. He holds the record for most complete games played: 73 (I think, doing this from memory). That's 73 complere games, no substitution full 48 minutes, never happening again.
