The star of this video is the alligator snapping turtle at the Grove in Glenview, IL the largest species of turtle in the world. This fine specimen in the video, I was told is 140 years old and is very active today because he responds to rapid changes in barometric pressure. I've been here many times in the past 10 years and I've never seen him move, so today was a rare treat because he's very active.
