19 ball passing, a new juggling world record.

This time we tried a new pattern for 19 balls. My synch throws are better than my asynch throws and Ben is the opposite so we combined my synch 10 ball launch with Ben's asynch 9 ball launch. We warmed up with 17 balls, with we got without too much trouble... then we moved on to 19.

6. But, If you were to actually get technical about it, this is a flash. Yes, a qualify is defined as (number of hands) x (number of balls), but the number of hands has no bearing on the definition of a flash. From the IJA definition, "A flash occurs for a given number of objects in an explicitly stated pattern when the number of catches made is at least the number of objects being juggled." In the case of using 2 hands, it so happens that a flash is half a qualify, but that is the only case.

15. @plazka That's a title mistake. I noticed it as soon as I published the video, but you are the first person in 2.5 years and 143,411 views to point it out (as far as I remember). Well done! An argument could be made that it was 19 catches, as the ball hits the hand, bounces out, then hits the floor after every other ball is caught. But no matter what some people* have claimed, the run ends when an object that is meant to be caught isn't, not when it hits the ground. *WJF 2004.
