3. Hopefully, PAL will consider purchasing B747-8i kaso it wouldn't be practical since medyo hindi pa ganung napupuno long-haul flights nila. B777-300ER is an excellent choice though.. Sana makahabol pa ang PAL sa ibang Asian carriers :)

17. A friend of mine who used to be a pilot of these sexy airplane once told me that their company retired its 747 fleet because it was costlier to maintain than modern Boeing 777 fleet. Luckily i was able to aboard one of this plane from Cebu to Manila sometime in 2004.
18. These birds are quickly disappearing. I wish airlines would invest in the new 747-8. They are so much nicer looking than the a380
