  1. dear god. can u fit your balls on that seat?
  2. funny that 90% of the vids on these bikes are just start ups. people must buy them for the simple fact to say "I own a 700cc 2 stroke"
  3. soft ass suspension
  4. lol it has a 1998 yz125 front number plate and fender in red
  5. Never start...or run your bike on the stand. Just don't do it ;)
  6. it should say mental down one side aswell
  7. How much did it cost to get it shipped over? I'm guessing you're in the USA? I'm in Canada and curious about how much it may cost..
  8. Jesus I hope you adjusted the suspension. that bitch sunk when you say on it
  9. Why is the rear shock so soft?
  10. Hey Opferman,
I was wondering how the reliabilty is on the Maico / ATK / Zabel 700cc 2 stroke engines, in terms of engine life on the piston, connection-rod, clutch, bearings etc.?
Somebody I know here in Belgium converted a 700 engine into a husaberg 550 frame with custom exhaust etc.for supermoto use. And he re-saled the engine due to the VERY VERY expensive parts in maintenance. He quoted "a piston costs about 500 euros", so that's quite alot, if you imagine changing them over the hours....
Anyway if you could paint me a picture about "how reliabile" they are that would be great.
I was wondering if I needed to buy a Honda CR500 or Kawasaki Kx500 or KTM SX380, they ALL are great big-bore two-strokes, that's for sure! A supermoto / enduro bike equiped with either one would be the BOMB and that would be even said lightly I guess... the power must be tremendous.
And also how is part availability?
I know they sell quite a few parts in the Netherlands and Germany BUT still... If you had to wait more than 3 weeks for a single part that would be ridiculous. For sure if you imagine these monsters need quit alot attention and maintenance. Still I've heard owners that ride over a 100 hours on a piston without problems, once well kept in maintenance. This was last was about a CR500.

Anyway it would be great to get an informative respons, and thanks for keeping these old dinosaur two-strokes ALIVE!
