2. I think the fact that the ancient one is so old would actually lend credence to the lack of a definable accent. After many lifetimes worth of living and traveling, your accent and language would become an amalgamation of all the times and places you'd ever lived, your original accent therefore becoming obscured.

9. 6 is sorta wrong. Marvel first approached Cumberbatch in 2014 with concept art. He loved the idea but he too was busy with other roles as you said in 7. That's when they considered other actors but eventually rescheduled the filming so Benedict could play Doctor Strange. And for 7 he wasn't filming Sherlock Series four, that was filmed after Doctor Strange.
