  5. Great stuff as always man. Preciate the cool advice but as someone who's got 4 years so far lifting and I'm sure you've probably got more, I'm going to have to respectively disagree with just one little point in your video. You said that people should start off focusing on strength. Building up their compound movements. But you have to understand that depends on the individual's goals. If someone is trying to build muscle, working all their compound movements for sets of 3-5 will build them very little muscle because that's a rep range for strength alone and you said that comes first. Hypertrophy is in the 8-12 rep range, with good form/contraction. If someone's focusing on just strength, then the sets of 3-5 are for them. You weren't specific enough and then you contradicted yourself a little later on saying that one should focus on pure strength regardless of one's goals and you stressed that they need to be getting stronger then saying that one has to be patient and not worry so much about not getting stronger fast enough. I have built a great physique so far. I'm currently cutting and I started at about 225 ibs and I still have a flat stomach with abs and definition all around but tons of size and I'm only 5'9. Why? I focused more on lowering the weight and feeling the muscle work and stretch and over time increasing the weight while maintaining good form. For sets of 8-12. I'll change up the reps here and there but focusing on just pure strength for sets of low reps did not get me any muscle and I bet more people can vouch for that. Chris himself said lowering the weight and worrying about form had gotten him so many gains and also he's also said to push yourself but be patient with the strength. Just my 2 cents my man. God bless and regardless you got another view and like brotha!
  6. I just want to get as jacked as you nothing a lot more but def not less I've been doing 5x5 for about atleast 8 months to hit strength goals 315 bench 455 dead 365 squat however I'm getting stronger (quite slowly) but my aesthetics haven't really stood out while I have gotten bigger coming from 159 at start to about 185 my aesthetics aren't great at all.. Honestly getting frustrated honestly took my first 2 week break.. my current Pr's are 285 bench 425 dead and 325 squat and I've been at it for a year and a half.. I need help man.. love your stuff as usual
  7. You provide some great content homie!
  8. holy crap that was fast hay man can i get some advice i got a question
  9. great video man keep grinden bro
  10. when you talk about gaining 10 to 15lbs of muscle are you talking about glycogen or real muscle and how are you measuring these increments of muscle you gain? I see a lot of people mix up added muscle and added glycogen, maybe you can do a video on that?
  11. great info very informative. thanks
  12. Thanks Bro
  13. "You're just going to look skinny and sickly! FACTS!" ♥ ♥ ♥
  14. You spit the real facts, dawg.
  15. 3 years?! Holy fuk. I've been training for what 9 months and up from 130lb to now 147lb. I'm not fat by any stretch of the imagination, using the Navy body fat calculator I'm something like 14-15% bf.

You look like my height. What did you look like at that weight, lean. If I'll look fudged up I'll just forget about cutting for summer and keep my surplus/maintain for another year.
  16. Super awesome!
  17. Spot on with all three Doc. I made the mistake of focusing on trying to get abs when I first started and def wasted my first year and a half.
  18. Great video! What's your favorite beginner routine?
  19. I agree with the last tip man. Some thing i personally went through was that if I was getting a little fat I would start cutting. I feel like getting rid of that mentality early on helps a ton.
  20. What would you say is a healthy body fat% for someone starting out. Last time I checked I was 22% not sure if I should cut, maintain, or bulk. Been doing a program similar to 5x5 for 3 months now
