  1. so ur a nerd could u make some electronics diy projects
  2. I have printed several of these for my D&D players... I printed them in ABS at 0.75 scale with a resolution of 0.2 layer height. I also had a much larger overhang on top floor (180 degrees of top floor).I used an Up!plus2 printer.
At this scale and resolution the gate does not work well (scaling the gap requires fine tuning or the gap in hinge becomes stuck).
It prints perfectly except for under the top floor where the first layer is all loopy... but every subsequent layer is fine. This is not a problem though as you do not see that issue from outside and it is only detectible by putting your finger in to find it. I just trimmed the droopy bits and it works and looks great.
  3. would love to see it double size on a g max would be awesome
  4. Would printing this upside down not fix a lot of the over hang problems?
  5. where did you get the shirt?
  6. I kind of like the variety of tests this item does:

  7. wouldnt this almost be a slicer torture test?
  8. Pffftttt... I would never torture my printer outside... Only Inside! :)
  9. Just started printing one of these towers in grey ABS on my LulzBot Mini with 0.3mm layer height & no supports. In about 6 hours we'll see just how well it came out & if I can give it to my nephew as a birthday present :D
  10. Dat t-shirt tho.
  11. Congrats on 16k
  12. So I assume the stairs printed fine? You didn't mention it at all even though you said you were interested in it
  13. Watching these videos makes me want to Calibrate my Folger Kossel and fix my Qu BD Two Up... but that requires motivation
  14. Would it work better if it was bigger. I play a lot of dice related games and it doesn't look big enough to handle the dice I use or the large number of dice I need to roll. Thanks for the interesting video(s).
  15. columns that are broken are almost always knocked over by globs catching on the head. z-lift on travel will help eliminate that.
  16. Here's my finished print https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RItiRbq1POA
You will notice that it has a unique feature, the ability to be set on a small hill :-)
The back started to warp off the bed early in the print, I decided to see how long it would hold on for. Amazingly it held on for the whole print, the only part stuck to the bed was the front half.
Other than that, I'm happy at how well it turned out. This was my first attempt with this.

I'd like to hear your thoughts Joel.
  17. my printer printed so badly it couldn't even go further diagonally!!!!1
  18. Awesome Vid I learn so much from you and thanks for being a great youtuber
  19. Great test. However, Dude - the links to your Amazon DON'T WORK. Clicking brings the YouTube re-direct page, then it is THAT link that fails. I tried a basic Copy/Paste of the address and BOOM - Nada (they all bring me to AMAZON's home page). No you to be found...
  20. I'll print it tomorrow in both ABS and PLA.
