In this video I try out this Awamoko 3D Bubble Printing Pen by Japanese company Shine. A viewer living in Japan very kindly sent this to me, thanks again ^^. Please read the FAQ below, and feel free to copy paste it to anyone asking the same questions in the comment section because they haven't bothered opening the description box! ♥ Where can you buy this 3D Printing Pen? ♥ This is only sold in toy shops in Japan. You will need to ask someone living there to purchase it for you, arrange for a online shipping service or buy it yourself if you go there on holiday. ♥ How much does the Awamoko 3D Printing Pen cost? ♥ SURPRISINGLY CHEAP! The pen itself costs 1874 Yen (€16 / $18) and the extra box of templates costs 660 Yen (€6 / $7). As mentioned, this is designed as a toy for children. It's not that useful for "real" DIY or crafting but I think it's surprisingly good value for such a cute product. ♥ Does it also work with liquid soap or detergent? ♥ I don't think so. I initially filled it with detergent/soapy water by mistake and it didn't work. Then I realised it needs store-bought soap bubble liquid which is best for creating thick foam.
