2. Ewing's layup was certainly not wide open it was contested by two different players. And maybe he only shot 30% because he was playing against one of the best centers of all time (Hakeem). There is no way that should be ahead of 4 straight missed free throws by the same guy.

Mike Korzemba, first let me say that I really enjoy your videos, especially the what ifs?  I grew up as a Knicks fan since the mid 80's.  I have noticed that you have put Ewing on a few of those CHOKE LISTS that you made.  I will give you that he did not perform up to his usual hall of fame self in those Finals.  But shouldn't John Starks be ahead of Ewing fot that game 7 choke job.  Personally I would put Pat Reilly on there for not sitting Starks when he saw the man taking the team down!  Ewings game 7 stats were not great, 7-17 with 17 points.  But as the coach of the Knicks shouldn't Reilly have given specific instructions to feed Ewing in the post instead of letting Starks jack up 30 foot 3's?  I mean Ewing never got much help from management in the form of talent in those years, but if he carried you there, then you let him sink the ship.  Ewing should have shot the ball at least 25 times and I am thinking 30 to 35 shots which would have at least put him at the line a lot more.  I mean he only attempted 6 free throws that game.  If your best player carried you there then you should let him try to finish it off or die trying.
