7 Days to Die | Day 28 Horde Night Attack Ep. 33

7 Days to Die is a survival horror video game set in an open world developed by The Fun Pimps. It was released through Early Access on Steam for Microsoft Windows and OS X on December 13, 2013. Versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released in June 2016 through Telltale Publishing. The game's events happen after a nuclear unknown Third World War that destroyed an extremely large part of the world, except for some areas such as the county of Navezgane, Arizona. The player is a survivor of the war who must survive by finding shelter, food and water, as well as scavenging supplies to fend off the numerous mutants (hinted to be the consequence of nuclear fallout) that populate Navezgane. Though there is no real objective except surviving at this moment, the developers hinted at a possible storyline that will be added in future updates. 1. Are you a cheater? Be honest. How do you have a Minibike, level 400 weapons, level 500 tools, all of that Concrete, and you barely take any damage from Ferals when they hit you, AT DAY 28??????????? Day 28 .... you cheated right.
  2. Wow. That was one of the most exciting horde videos I have seen. I just beat my day 21 horde lastnight. I got 2 Ferals and 3 cops in that one. Looks like shit is gonna get crazy for me here in a few days. I am almost done with my main stand alone base. It's a concrete tower in the center with a wall of steel reinforced pillars around it I can melee and shoot through. My tower leads down to a mine tunnel at bedrock that connects to my starter base about a 3rd of a mile away that is a reinforced forge cabin with a meat grinder attached to it. I have a minibike underground to quickly get from one base to other at night. I can't wait for the day 35 horde!
  3. Awesome video, man!
  4. Please, learn how to use spikes! XD It will help a lot to thin out there numbers.
  5. try keeping the fortress small and beef it up, small base = less maintenance = more supplies = stronger defense
  6. I'm interested in getting this for PS4. Have you had any data corruptions or crashes yet? I know there are bugs in this game, which I can handle, but i'm concerned with game ruining bugs mostly. I most likely will get this if the issues aren't overwhelming.
  7. gotta catch up 😿
  8. im on day 27 any tips?
  9. Thank you for being one of the only youtubers who actively play 7 Days To Die
  10. Rocket launcher 420
  11. make a pit of spike around ur house dude
  12. That was epic. Horde night videos are always better when your plan go down the toilet and you don't have a back up one. In your case the Z's breaching your walls within seconds. I literally LOL'd. I loved it. It's always better when it happens to someone else.
  13. 7 days to die alpha 15 out on Xbox
  14. Hey Meaty, since your outer bunker walls have 2 layers, you should build the second layer 3 blocks high, so that if any of the the top blocks of the first layer get destroyed, the zombies can't hop onto the bottom block and then hop right over the second layer, and get right into your base!

Please like this so he can see!
  15. Maybe you should turn all the corners into steel doors and lock them all up.
  16. He should dig a sort of trench around the walls or maybe just the main house and put wood spikes in there then put on the barbed wire stuff on top so they get stuck on them (would probably make a big difference) loved it btw
  17. I love the extra time, thanks!
  18. Meaty u should put some spikes down next time
  19. Well, that was super fun but rather you than me lol. It really needed the longer episode for it too, I liked the chilled out repairo after the madness, otherwise you end up leaving off while still all keyed up and that's hard for even a viewer to handle.

Going through a horde night is really the only way to see how well you've designed your base to hold up. And you're right, most of it did hold up really well (the most important thing was that they didn't break through into your internal building). As you pointed out with that interior corner that they made it through, they do bunch there, I'm surprised you aren't taking the opportunity to straighten that wall out to get rid of the bunching up point.

So, we learned you (general you) need an escape route; that spider zombies & super zombies can still get over a 3 block high perimeter wall a little too easily still, and that even if they are still outside zombies can hit you while you're on the wall. With that in mind, I think you need to put the overhang of bars around the outside of the wall - like you have on your house - but I'd go up another level or so to be on the safe side first or it stands the chance of just giving them a leg up when there's a bunch of them and maybe an extra ledge or wall lining on the inside so you can run around on top of the wall without them being able to hit you (although if the wall is a little higher they may not hit you the same); and finally, maybe an external stash, close by but separate from your compound, that has spare bullets, repair kits, meds & building supplies for emergency repairos, and maybe even a spare unplaced bed stored away in case they destroy the one you have placed (maybe the escape route could be a tunnel to the external building if you're in a bunker or have dug down to form a bunker-ish type base of your own).
  20. Wow! That went from "where are they?" To chaos in no time. Haha good stuff and no deaths.
