7-Eleven $2 Iced Coffee | Taste Test

Please Share :) Went on over to the local Australian 7-Eleven to check out the new $2 iced coffee - check out what I thought of it in this new taste test. #icedcoffee http://www.7andi.com/en/ http://www.7eleven.com.au/ 7-eleven https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/7-Eleven 7-Eleven is an international chain of convenience stores that operates, franchises, and licenses some 56,600 stores in 18 countries. The chain was known as Tote'm Stores until renamed in 1946. 7-Eleven Inc. is headquartered in Irving, Texas. Its parent company, Seven-Eleven Japan Co., Ltd., is located in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Seven-Eleven Japan is held by the Seven & I Holdings Co. The company's first outlets were named "Tote'm Stores" because customers "toted" away their purchases. Some stores featured genuine Alaskan totem poles in front of the store. In 1946, the chain's name was changed from "Tote'm" to "7-Eleven" to reflect the company's new, extended hours, 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, seven days per week. In November 1999, the corporate name of the US company was changed from "The Southland Corporation" to "7-Eleven Inc." 7-Eleven in the United States sells Slurpee drinks, a partially frozen soft drink introduced in 1967, and Big Gulp beverages, introduced in 1976. Other products include: 7-Select private-brand products, coffee, fresh-made daily sandwiches, fresh fruit, salads and bakery items, hot and prepared foods, gasoline, dairy products, carbonated beverages and energy drinks, juices, financial services and product delivery services. 7-Eleven is known for their relatively large drink sizes. 7-Eleven commonly offers beverages that are 32 ounces (Big Gulp), 53 ounces (X-Treme Gulp), 64 ounces (Double gulp) or 128 Ounces (Team Gulp). These beverage sizes were all among the largest commonly sold soft drinks when they were introduced. 7-Eleven has been commonly associated with these very large sodas in popular culture. For example, Mayor Michael Bloomberg's proposed ban on large sodas in New York City was commonly nicknamed the Big Gulp ban Australia The first 7-Eleven in Australia opened on August 24, 1977, in the Melbourne suburb of Oakleigh. The majority of stores are located in metropolitan areas, particularly in central business district areas. Stores in suburban areas often operate as petrol stations and most are owned and operated as franchises, with a central administration. 7-Eleven bought Mobil's remaining Australian petrol stations in 2010,[66] converting them to 7-Eleven outlets, resulting in an immediate and unprecedented overnight major expansion of the brand. In South Australia all Mobil petrol stations were sold to Peregrine Corporation and branded as On The Run petrol stations. 7-Eleven stores in Australia sell a wide range of items, including daily newspapers, drinks, confectionery and snack foods. They sell gift cards, including three types of pre-paid Visa cards. The chain has partnered with BankWest, placing a BankWest ATM in each of their stores nationwide. Each year on November 7, 7-Eleven promotes "7-Eleven Day" by giving away a free Slurpee to customers. In April 2014, 7-Eleven announced plans to start operating stores in Western Australia, with 11 stores planned to operate within the first year and a total of 75 stores established within five years. The first store was opened on October 30, 2014 in the city of Fremantle NEW VIDEOS EACH WEEK Send Me Stuff To Test! Comments

  1. should i try it
  2. How many ML's would that cup be...400?
  3. This is made from fresh real coffee beans that are ground after you press the button to make the iced coffee and milk. There are no other ingredients maybe sugar syrup if you want. The sugar syrup is just sugar and water as clearly labeled on the packaging.

McDonalds Frapachinos on the other hand are made from "COFFEE FLAVOURED FRAPPE BASE" and "COFFEE SAUCE". No real coffee here.

Has anyone wondered what is in those?

COFFEE FLAVOURED FRAPPE BASE: Milk, Sugar, Cream, Milk Solids, Water, Coffee Powder, Emulsifier (471), Stabilisers (412, 466, 410, 407a, 407), Flavours.

COFFEE SAUCE: Sucrose Syrup, Water, Flavours, Thickener (1442), Cocoa Powder, Colour (150d), Salt, Food Acids (330, 331), Preservative (202), Vegetable Gums (415, 417, 401).

WHIPPED CREAM: Cream, Propellant (Nitrous Oxide), Emulsifier (471), Flavour, Vegetable Gums (407, 401).

    Contains Milk. Traces of Sulphites.
  4. $2 isn't bad at all! That's great!
  5. I do know 7-eleven does have food. At lest in the US they have food made in the store. According to Tony (Old Nerd Reviews), they got some good foods.
  6. Will have to give this a go tomorrow morning ;), cheers
  7. Hi Jeff, Very good video. Will defs try it out!! cant weight
  8. 👍
  9. Okay one of three things:
A- You edit your videos to where the background is in reverse

B- You speak your entire review in reverse and this is the switched up footage

C- Everyone but you and your son in Australia move and function backwards

I dont know which one sounds the most realistic
  10. 7/11 actually clean their machines, meanwhile their hotdogs are still spinning on the rollers 3 months later ... I'll pass and stick to McCafes Ice Coffee, it's a safer bet !
  11. 😎👍 never have had any 7-11 coffee 😏
  12. no sugar is the way to go,
  13. Ice coffee is not a big thing in UK . And no 7 11s in the UK
  14. Yummy stuff, Geoff!
  15. There's a person walking backwards in the background at 2:09! Eerie stuff...
But great video as usual 😊
  16. I enjoyed the Iced Coffee at 7-eleven when I had one a few days ago and I will probably get it regularly but I want to try the melt one.
  17. The 'ice cream melt' ones are in a black cup, so that one didn't have ice cream. They're too sweet for me because I don't have sugar either. My opinion on the normal one: not strong enough for my liking, but for $2 can't complain.
  18. Great work, Jeff, Love the video and would love to try the coffee
