looks like UNI almost lost this game due to inbouning turnovers too....cant believe A&M came back.
I remember the "Oh, Newby" shot several years before this, too!
Farokmanesh's dagger 3 has the best call in NCAA history (not by Gus Johnson)
I'm Isu and a uni fan and Kansas sucks
Remember watching this game - craziness!! :)
I came back to watch this after Kansas lost to Stanford in the 2014 Round of 32. Feels good.
Watching this on Tv while listening to the radio at the end of the game, "Down goes Kansas, down goes Kansas, oh baby how sweet it is!"
After this game I tore up my bracket. I don't think I've filled one out, at least not with any seriousness, since.
Lol there was a bigger presence from a subdivision school than Kansas....
Too bad for northern Iowa the won't ever have a coach as great as bill self
Too bad for them northern won't ever have a coach like bill self
Too bad northern Iowa won't ever have a coach like bill self
BIG UPSET!
how did Ali F not go Pro?
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDD
No it really was pretty darn big, Kansas was supposed to cruise to the title being head and shoulders above the rest of the field, UNI was decent in their own right, but no one thought them or anyone else for that matter could compete with them for too long, I even remember the guys on ESPN making a joke about how unlikely it was for UNI to have a chance the night before the game. Trust me, it was HUGE
I remember Beaker fans went ballistic calling Farokemanesh "The little terrorist."
