   So heartbreaking that Scanlan didn't hear Grog's offering
6. It is a bit strange how they cry like this when Scanlin simply left and is not actually dead.

11. Ouch. Freaking ouch. Nothing is more heartbreaking than the comic relief losing his temper. And I feel embarrassed on Vox Machina's behalf for the way they made a fool of him in front of the only person he truly cares about.
    Still, Terrion sounds like he'll be a fun addition to the team!
12. Well, he did say he was a great liar. Twice.
13. Stunned / Incapacitated doesn't auto-crit. That's only if they're Unconscious.
14. While Sam puts in a stellar performance, can we take a moment to appreciate the Earthbreaker Groon fight?
    Grog first lost to Kern under an alias, specifically because Kern used his half-orc ability to come back from a knockout and take out "Phillip". Then, after Grog has to endure the humiliation of the loss (but he had fun, so maybe he won?), Grog comes back and manages to defeat Kern, even though Kern's taken a level in Monk.
    Then, Grog fights Earthbreaker Groon, but the duel ends when Groon manages to teach Grog that his true strength comes from his friends and the faith they have in him. Finally, when the moment comes when Groon is no longer holding back and it's a classic Master vs Student battle to show how far Grog's come, not only does Grog win, but he also uses the same thing Kern did (TWICE, proving Grog has surpassed Kern) and manages to defeat the Mentor.
    Just a great, fun story with a classic arc.
15. Wow. I'm at a loss for words on how powerful Sam made that scene. And Grog's reaction at not being heard in the ritual was heartbreaking, too.
16. I came for the storytelling...I left because of the unability to understanding of the rules.

18. I am watching this series a few months late, but it is incredibly enjoyable.
    Just a few epic and/or hilarious moments during Grog's fight. That was epic.
