  11. this is a cool video, but if the arched shape is the key to the flop, why dont we see olympic high jumpers do a "diving" position too? (like when you bend down and touch your toes)

  17. Can someone explain how an object's center of mass can be at a point outside of the object, where there is no mass present?  I'm not quite grasping this concept.  Does this simply mean that holding at that point of the object will balance it?
