I want to remind you that although chronoligically the '00s last from 2000 to 2009, in pop culture and in music in general this changes. A decade in music could vary, for example in music '90s last from around 1987 to 1997 and consequently '00s last from 1997 (with Backstreet boys and Spice Girls) to 2008 (when artists like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Rihanna became mainstream bringing a new electropop sound and initiating the '10s)!
