ASUS PG27AQ Review | 4K G-SYNC IPS Monitor

The ASUS ROG SWIFT PG27AQ is the best 4K Gaming Monitor you can buy - but that doesn't mean you should. I review the PG27AQ's display, build-quality, refresh rate, response time, resolution and price. 2. Hey! Thanks for the nice Review. I got a question. You still recommend WQHD? Im Playing RPG's Strategy Games Mostly. Just some Shooters like Overwatch. And im Watching Movies/Series on my Pc.

I guess that 4K is much better for future Games etc. because its more likely to buy a new graphicscard in the next 1-3 years than a new screen.

What would you recommend to me?
  3. I have use this monitor for a half year, 4k is so good. Can't go back to 2K.
  4. Hey man, do you think this monitor will work fine with the PS4 Pro? Confused because this doesn't have HDMI 2.0 listed.
  5. dsr pg279q x4 1080p and bang 4k
  6. hey =) please How to activate the led on the foot?
  7. will this monitor work with xbox one s for 4k
  8. Can you overclock this monitor to 75hz?
  9. Why can't I get 4k resolution from my xbox one s on this monitor I just received it today @thetechchap
  10. G-sync will help with the 60hz drawback. Plus 60hz monitors that are specifically optimized for gaming, will do better than a 60hz monitor that is not.
  11. I will wait till Asus to do 4K gaming monitor's at 144Hz in G sync.
  12. lol 0:46
  13. Please review the NEC EA275UHD
  14. Great review! For someone who is not interested at g-sync but is looking for the best quality, vivid colors and color accuracy ,what would you suggest. ASUS PG27AQ or Asus MX27UQ ?
  15. I have this monitor, not sure about G-sync still, but pic quallity is superb on this thing, and 4k is runable at medium/high settings in most f2p titels, and some last year AAA+ titels.
i am only running a 3570 @4,2ghz 16gb DDR3, and a GTX970, and this monitor is runable at 4k in most games, and 1440p in almost all orthers , only game i had issues running at 1440p/4k with this setup was fallout 4, if your not playing newest tripple A demanding titels, then 4k isnt that hard to run imo. I do play overwatch and Evolve stage2 as well in 4k, without any issues.

just a headsup for anyone considering going 4k, while being unsure if their older hardware/midrange hardware can actually run the games at 4k.
  16. Will it work well with PS4 ?
  17. Your videos are great mate, i just subbed, I currently have a 1080p AOC Gsync TN monitor and I am thinking of jumping to a 1440 or 4k monitor... the main reason I am still thinking of 4k over 1440p is i have heard 4k will downscale perfectly to 1080p perfectly and 1440p fairly well. But a 1440p panel supposedly does not downscale as well from 1440p to 1080p.

    My set up is:
    i7 6700k @4.4ghz
GTX 980ti OC to 1325mhz core
    16gb ram

So most games should play well at 1440p for me but i know there will still be SOME titles that will need to be nocked back to 1080p potentially.

What are your thoughts on this, still recommend a 1440p or should i go 4k?

Thanks in advance and look forward to your next video :-)
  18. Great review! I am personally thinking to get this monitor after selling my samsung s24b420 which yea i know is shit lol. Just a query is your keyboard the blackwidow 2013 edition?
  19. Whats it's worth? Buy a GTX 1070 and a 4K G-Sync Monitor, or a GTX 1080 and a 4K monitor classic ?
  20. I'll be getting a 1080 founders edition soon and a new monitor and Im can't decide whether I want a 1440p 144hz monitor or a 4k monitor for gaming. What do you think is better?
