Why would you hide the tail? I'd figure a natural thick long flowing tail waving while the horse is running would make it look more magnificent.

I have two Belgians....a mare I call Dolly who is 16 hands and a gelding who we named Big Jake as well , he is 19.1 hands! He is broke to ride and drive double and single. Dolly we've only trained to ride. LOVE my big horses! LOL when I go to ride my little 15 and 16 hands Quarter Horses the seem like ponies! lol

Belgians are blow horses, they use to dock the tail so it wouldn't get caught in the drag or tack and now they do it now for show are work. It's more like a tradition. It's sad I know. My Belgians tail is docked and he can't swat the flies:(
