2016 Moto2 and Moto3 World Championship Official Review - DVD Watch in awe as the Moto2 and Moto3 riders tackle some of the world’s fastest and most demanding motorcycle racing circuits at huge speeds in their quest for World titles. These guys tuck in tight, get down behind the bubble and just go for it. In both classes the bikes are well matched and so the emphasis is on race-craft, skill and large amount of courage. The result is breathtaking racing and a thrilling battle for the title in each category. Moto2 saw Frenchman Johann Zarco start as defending champion while Alex Rins, Sam Lowes, Thomas Luthi and Jonas Folger were all looking to build on solid 2015 performances to go higher up the leaderboard in 2016. The 250cc pilots in Moto3 always put on a fast and frenetic show for the fans but 2016 has really been a treat to watch as Brad Binder has found his form to become the most successful South African rider since Jon Ekerold in the early ‘80s. It certainly hasn’t been a one horse race, though, as even before the final race nine different riders had stood on the top step of the podium!
