Frankly, I don't really understand why a lot of people hate this game so much. Now, it's their opinion, and I fully respect that. Think Fallout 4 and 3 suck while BOS rocks ? Weird Opinion, but I'll accept it. But anyway, I still really don't get a lot of the complaints. It sorta reminds me of Pokémon in that sense. See, in Black and White, TMs are now infinite. These are items that teach a party member a new move, and previously, they'd be single use. And people honestly complained about that! It's like the people who complain about better gunplay. I can't tell you how often I was killed in FO3 by trying to shoot my gun with the horrible controls while waiting for my AP to regenerate. I think another thing I don't understand is people complaining it's too 'cartoony' and 'silly.' Silver Shroud for instance and the Wasteland Whisper, for instance. Silly, and sometimes stupid shit exsisted in all the other games. Fallout BOS literally had a character called Mr. Pussy, who was a cat. F3 had the Ant Superhero and the Gary Clones which where imo, painfully unfunny and trying WAY too hard to be memey. People complain that Preston Garvey flaling around on a piece of exercise equipment is taking them out of game immersion but a gang of old evil woman and the sheer silliness of Wild Wasteland gets a free pass ? (Not bashing WW; it's freaking great!). Fallout 3 was pretty goddamn ugly. Muted Greys, blacks and brown was all the main color; everything meshes together. Sure, The Commenwealth is more colorful but it still feels post apocalyptic. Something like Good Neighbor feels like the end of the world by the broken buildings and desolation, but the bright colors don't offset this. Abernathy Family Farm still feels like something you'd see after a war; with people living wherever they can. And in my opinion, the silliest thing I see people bashing this game for is that it's not an RPG. Yes, it's not pen and paper, nor is it tatical or turn based, but it is as much as an RPG as something like Fallout 3 and NV. VATS, IMO, is very similar to the battle systems used in other ARPGS, a little like Xenoblade's. Theres still the SPECIAL stats, and the amount of customization is just like an RPG, if you ask me. Huge amounts of differing armor types that add buffs, effects and enemies with stats, drop rates, XP yield and gamelore make it feel like an RPG, in my eyes. Plus there's all the weapons you can collect, the stats, effects such as bleeding, posion and stun, it's just like a traditional battle system, just different. Now, back to the Pokémon argument. It's the same thing here, IMO. Sure, Red and Blue were awesome when they came out, but playing them now is a bugging and glitchy mess in which the gameboy is strained to the poor thing's limit. Fallout 3 and Vegas haven't aged well, if you ask me. Ugly textures, tons of graphical errors, and a weird mess of how levels where distribuded. The level cap was a joke; you could reach it very quickly and suddenly be unable to do anything about it. But, Fallout 3 is the best game, am I right ? Now, if you hate Fallout 4, and love F3 and NV, that's great! I'm just offering a differing view. Now, it could be worse. We could go back to BOS, with Real World Energy Drink Bawls, Slipknot, and jokes such as Mr. Pussy and Tina Titties.

I have played and completed almost every fallout accept fallout 3 ( and shit like fallout tactics) but I just cant stand fallout 3 for some reason, I played the first hour or so of the game but I don't know why i hate it so much. Let the hate come.

i totally agree, i don't play new vegas anymore becuse i just can't take those graphics seryosly! specially the threes...they look like damn paper! even with mods...i instaled a bunch of graphics mods and....i just can't take the game seriosly anymore and it makes me extremly bored after 10 minutes of it... but fallout 4...i could play it forever <3

I liked Fallout 3/NV's graphics because it made the wasteland to me, really feel destroyed and lonely. The graphics and art style were grey and bleak to accomplish this, but the new games graphics are good as well.

me: "but what about the Graphic Enhancements, fixed Gun-Play, better environment, better character customisation, more armour mixing, better weapon customisation, painting Power Armour, better voice acting, Settlement building, etc?

if youre not comfortable shooting without the V.A.T.S system, then that's your fault. It's not like you can't shoot without it.
No... it feels like they re-used the 8 year old engine with higher res textures and more colors.
