Well, at least that's what my young daughter called it - 'the biggest crab in the world...' Whilst it wasn't the biggest in the world by a long way, it was the biggest one my son found today whilst on a free Sea Side Safari with an Exmoor National Park Ranger on Lynmouth Beach this afternoon. The Ranger gave lots of good advice and educated us on crab handling, and used my son's large shore crab to demonstrate with.
