  18. It's unfortunate they couldn't locate the cranium. This to answer some of the questions such as how it was able to ingest the amount of food it needed per day and if it's brain was proportionately larger than other herbivores. The head they used wasn't perhaps "wrong" but it leaned more to a giraffe than an elephant (who needs more food per day than a giraffe.) It's smaller mouth (without jowls on both sides) and it seemed to have a smaller space for a throat lends me to think a "fleshier" head might have been required since it needed like 600 tons(?) of food per day - per National Geographics special. They said the cranium was thin like other herbivores so it was vulnerable to the larger meateaters of it's day also. Great find!
