1. why were so many people assuming that actual accounts were getting unsubbed? It seemed fairly obvious to me that it was just the number. Also at 1:29 isn't removing inactive accounts good? A worse view to sub count ratio means YouTube will promote that video less.

17. if what you're saying is true I feel like it's a blessing. the censoring of YouTube on certain topics and the corporate takeover by sponsorship. basically the corporations are telling YouTube or Google where they want their product placement. And if they don't like your topic you don't get a product placement. if everybody was in the negative they wouldn't know where to put there products. basically it'll be the way people could take back YouTube and make it about you. the subscription button used to be about paying the Youtuber. but that has become a sponsoring point and also has taken away from the product creation. get rid of scription button we get back to the basics
18. YouTube claims that it's affecting only the display number and not the actual sub count, which you would think would be the same thing, but apparently isn't. Sub numbers are dropping, but the actual subs haven't changed. If you had 17,000 subs and have 10 today, you actually still have 17,000.
