  1. 6:18 You are wrong~ He killed so many people and he got a memorial because he was a dictator😠
    It's a beautiful tho😄
  2. Chang Kai Shek did not do something good but it's the other way around. The only reason he got the big plaza is because the KMT wanted to brainwash Taiwanese how great he is while KMT colonized Taiwan. At that time Taiwan was like North Korea which was autocracy.

He ordered the longest martial law in the history of mankind in Taiwan. Many Taiwanese were killed due to political issues. Any thought against government then you could be in jail or sentenced to death without fair trial.

It's a shame we have such big "temple" for such kind of warlord, very ironic.

    Sorry for this heavy comments.
  3. I like the song at 10:25!
  4. Correction all the Taiwanese people have been nice so far except for the one person who ripped you off for the $20 umbrella
  5. Welcome to Taiwan!
  6. "Republic of China" was founded in China in 1912 and did not consist of Taiwan until 1949, after they lost the Chinese Civil War and retreated to Taiwan. Therefore, I would not say Sun Yat Sun was the founder of Taiwan, but the Republic of China. Founding father of modern Taiwan would perhaps be Lee Teng Hui - the first president of Taiwan. This is not official but if Taiwan were to ever officially change it's name and be accepted by the international community, they could look back and see it was Lee who proposed that Taiwan and China be two separate nations and encouraged the people of Taiwan to identify as Taiwanese as opposed to Chinese.
  7. Very cool videos, nice to see another Taipei vlogger. Check out camera street you can usually haggle them for a good price. I'll give you a sub, I'm interested to see your take on Taipei. Good luck!
