If it wanted to, it could have dived underwater dragging her down with it at anytime, a playful bored Orca just doing it's thing. "An Orca that knows it's routine well, does this instead." Ya...that's what I'd do as well. Change thing's up a bit every now and then.

Some info on this video: first of all, the woman riding on the orca's back was a SECRETARY, not a trainer. The orca is the original Shamu, and this took place in San Diego in the early 1970s. Later, the woman explains that the orca grabbed her because she was the first person to be in the water with the orca who wasn't wearing a wetsuit, and the orca simply became curious and grabbed her. People REALLY need to stop assuming that just because an orca grabs someone, that it's stressed out and frustrated. Sometimes orcas grab people because they're curious or feeling playful, NOT mad!
Also, this orca is by NO means the biggest ever. This is a young female, for goodness' sakes, and the males get MUCH bigger. Whoever posted this vid obviously was aiming for sensationalization, and obviously didn't care about facts!

Let's just take this into account: if a human got violent with someone because of unwanted contact, people would say "oh, they were just standing up for themselves!" An orca does the same thing, and they're called a "man-eater" for it.
