There seems to be a lot of confusion about what we are seeing here. It is a Hydatid worm (not Tapeworm) infection in a human. The doctors are trying to save the person's life by opening up the abdomen and draining the huge amount of cysts and other material. It most often is in the Liver but this isn't showing the liver which is a deep red/brown. When people don't practise good hygene then it is very easy for them, especially children, to swallow the tiny eggs. Once inside the human the eggs travel to any of the organs, mainly the Liver, Heart and the Brain and then they grow and when mature they produce eggs. The most dangerous worms are the Hydatid, Roundworm, and the Tapeworm but there are lots of others and they are found everywhere around the World where there are animals. If you bother to find out more on the internet then, you will never eat undercooked meat or fish again. And, I hope that you will teach your children about washing their hands also, treat your animals often for worms. This is so important but seems to be forgotten by everyone and it is not being taught at school to the younger people.
