  4. rocket motor not rocket engine this was a test of the new Orbital ATK SLS solid rocket booster, this solid rocket motor will be used in 2018 for NASAs new sls program that is replacing the space shuttle program
  5. I'm glad it wasn't me revving the carburettor.
  6. Can't watch it with the camera moving so much!
  7. Annoying dude in the background
  8. And Flat Earthers be like. Yeah but it won't provide any thrust in the vacuum of space. No atmosphere to push against.
  9. Why is this so shaky? It's a static shot?
  10. just to clarify the terminology, a solid fuel rocket is normally called a "motor" while the term engine is normally reserved for liquid fueled devices. Also, the F-1 used on the S-1C stage of the Saturn V remains the most powerful rocket engine ever produced although for some inexplicable stupidity on the part of NASA, have not been utilized since the launch of Skylab back in 1973.
  11. beautiful, just beautiful.
  12. Good vid except for the Mr. Know it all's commentary
  13. You just HAD to be right behind the guy with a giant fat head blocking half the shot?
  14. Chuck Norris called. He wants his welder back.
  15. Not biggest or most powerful. See the Aerojet 260" booster back in the 60s. Double the power.
