4. It is all the same kid. He only takes the hat off for a few seconds at around 3:45 but puts it back on again at 3:50.

11. Bearing in mind that Ray was not quite yet three in this video....Perhaps you are right that I am incredibly ignorant. At the same time, we felt that we knew our child, and his capabilities. The staircase in our house was possibly more dangerous but Ray understood that too. Bear in mind that the cage around the slide would require that Ray have suicidal, or extremely rash, intent for him to drop between its bars. Ray is always very careful, so far. He is now six years old.
12. There are some (seen on youtube). They tend to be steel rather than roller slides.

15. @squazzer Yes... if the constructor fails he hangs... ha haha.. but is very dangerous for kid... needs webs arround all surface .. see the height!!!!
