Now take you're pick! ;) and I hope you'll like the video = ) Of coarse don't forget to guess the sound at the end ;) I'll be giving away a price to the 3 best aircraft sound guessers at the end of 2013. It'll be a spotting DVD or something like that. Good Luck everybody!!! Airbus A380 The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner. It is the world's largest passenger airliner. Initially named Airbus A3XX, Airbus designed the aircraft to challenge Boeing's monopoly in the large-aircraft market. The A380 made its first flight on 27 April 2005 and began commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines. The A380's upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, with a width equivalent to a wide-body aircraft. With 49% more floor space than the the Boeing 747-8, the cabin provides seating for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration or up to 853 people in all-economy class configurations. The A380-800 has a design range of 15,700 kilometers, sufficient to fly from New York to Hong Kong, and a cruising speed of about 900 km/h As of July 2013, Airbus has received 262 firm orders and delivered 106 aircraft. Emirates has ordered the most A380s with 90. Boeing 747 The Boeing 747 is a wide-body commercial airliner, often referred to by its original nickname, Jumbo Jet, or Queen of the Skies. It is among the world's most recognizable aircraft and was the first wide-body ever produced. The four-engine 747 uses a double deck configuration for part of its length. Boeing designed the 747's hump-like upper deck to serve as a first class lounge or extra seating, and to allow the aircraft to be easily converted to a cargo carrier by removing seats and installing a front cargo door. Boeing did so because the company expected supersonic airliners to render the 747, while the demand for subsonic cargo aircrafts would be robust well into the future. The 747-400, the most common passenger version in service, made it's first flight on the 29th of April 1988 and it's among the fastest airliners in service with a high-subsonic cruise speed of Mach 0.85. It has an intercontinental range of 14.200km. The 747-400 passenger version can accommodate 416 passengers in a typical three-class layout, or 660 passengers in a high density one-class configuration. 1. A380 for life!!! Like if you agree
  2. I choosed Airbus. No recent crashes i have heard about A380 but 747... Watched the Northwest Airlines Flight 28 (i think) 747 in Air Crash Investigation? The first back flaps got stuck and the cause is something snaps. But the A380 was planned so hard because it's a Super-Jumbo Jet and they want no room for error or the passengers inside the plane will die, cabin crew and pilots included.
  3. the 747 is waaaay older and it is called the queen. Actually, Airbus kinda stole the idea but they made it bigger. Boeing made the double decker waaaaaay long b4 and they are ahead of everything. who would imagine double decker plane in the 70's? nobody eh? lol
btw, 747 is the queen of the skies and still is. She might be old, but she is the first one to rule the skies...and still is. Nowadays, it is considered a very Most Valuable thing ever made.
