Style and design-wise.....hands down, the 747 is the much more attractive looking aircraft.  The A380 looks so much like a bloated and pregnant manatee with wheels on it.  Ugly, just ugly.  The 747 is graceful and handsome looking while nearly as large.  Airbuses in general are ugly and dorky-looking anyway (all their aircraft).  If it ain't Boeing, I ain't going.
3. The a380 looks like a giant bat from head on, both awesome feats of engineering.
