Borderlands 2 - Thresher Thrashed Trophy / Achievement Guide (Terramorphous Boss Fight Solo)

Defeated Terramorphous the Invincible [Silver / 30G] Terramorphous is an enemy that you have to kill during a side mission called "You. Will. Die. (Seriously.)". This mission becomes available after beating the story for the first time. Talk to Tannis in the Crimson Raiders HQ (Sanctuary) to start the quest. Then travel to Thousand Cuts to enter Terramorphous Peak. Entering this area costs 4 Eridium! Before starting the fight: - Make sure that you are on level 50 and buy all SDU's from the black market to carry more ammo - Have a high Badass Rank and redeem Badass Tokens - Get some good level 50 equipment - Play Normal Mode, not Vault Hunter Mode - Do this in a Co-Op game, it's much easier than doing it solo! If you die in solo mode, Terramorphous will completely refill his health. Strategy for Terramorphous Fight: I recommend using a level 50 Gunzerker when trying this solo. If you are a Gunzerker then make sure to equip two rocket launchers. Shotguns and Slag weapons are also very helpful. Especially Slag Grenades are a must have if you want to make this a quick fight. Since Terramorphous deals heavy damage you will probably go down a few times. Kill one of the tentacles while in last stand. This will revive you automatically. When he comes out of the ground quickly throw a bunch of slag grenades and attack with your strongest weapons. His weak spots are shown as yellow glowing dots. Attack them for critical hits. Jump around a lot to dodge incoming attacks from other tentacles. When you stay behind Terramorphous then he won't be able to attack you. Always walk in big circles around him and keep some distance. I was a level 48 commando and I went online with some level 72 players and they were doing this mission as well, let's just say I died more than 20 times but we killed it but I didn't get the trophy for it. It was my last quest to hand it to have all sides quests trophy yet when they did hand it in I got that trophy. I had to do the fight again but this time I was level 50 I had a few good tries at it but did it. If it wasn't for his whip push you so far back and in to the air shit then it would be air little easier.

Pfff I used a Norfleet on him TVHM And Normal Mode The Norfleet i have does like 275813x3 Damage So it was easy and i have almost every legendary i used my Lvl 52 Psycho to kill Terramorphous no downs Lol I also have like a bank vault thingy in the crimson raiders HQ Filled with legendarys and pearls that someone gave me :) Lol

13. Tried this last night with my lvl 52 siren. I managed to bring him down to 65% of his health before dying. The worst part is when you die and the tentacles submerge leaving you with nothing to get a second wind from. I didn't have slag grenades either and the slag effects seem to dissapate too quickly to get good double damage with. Also lost 5 million bucks respawning.

20. Yes..I already played it 300h and it's not boring at all. You can farm different things like special monsters and enemies alone or with your friends. You can get better loot and better weapons. All the DlC's are awesome and there are a lot of Easter Eggs and things that are just funny as hell. There are also Dlc's where you can lvl up from lvl 50 to lvl 72 and 8 OP lvl's. Borderlands 2 is a very good game and you can play it for a long time. Buy it and test it out, for me it was worth the money.
