Brandon Roy scores 18 points in Blazers' 4th quarter comeback vs. Mavericks Game 4 (4.23.11)

Brandon Roy scored 18 of his game-high 24 points in the fourth quarter -- including a 10-foot bank shot with 39.2 seconds left for the game's final points -- to lift the Trail Blazers to an improbable 84-82 first-round playoff victory over the Dallas Mavericks Saturday at the Rose Garden. The win squares the best-of-seven series at two games apiece, with Game 5 Monday night in Dallas' American Airlines Center. Portland trailed 64-41 late in third quarter after missing its first 15 shots of the third quarter. The Blazers trailed 67-49 entering the final period. It was the biggest fourth-quarter comeback in franchise playoff history.

  6. Before his injuries I remember thinking that he was the 3rd best player in the world behind Kobe & Lebron. He was more lethal than Wade, Melo D-Will & STAT in my opinion.

  8. Imagine a healthy lineup of

    Lillard

    Bradon Roy

    Nicholas Batum

    LaMarcus Aldridge

    Greg Oden

With top 10 shooting guard Wesley Mathews off the bench.
  9. I really put in his last game but this is exactly the video I wanted to see, thanks. I remember the game after this all they talked about was the lift on his jumper cuz he was struggling then Wes Matthews had his coming out party

  15. This fueled the fire of my Mavs.. won 7 straight afterwards. Though I was heartbroken after this game, I respected the hell out of Roy. I do feel for him now. It's shame his knee issues ruined his career. This game is proof that he could've been big time.
  16. Oh Men Blazers is very unfortunate, imagine if oden and roy didn't suffer a career ending injury. Probably this is their roster today

    C: Greg Oden
    PF: Aldridge
    SF: Nicolas Batum
    SG: Brandon Roy
    PG: Damian Lillard

    Bench
    C:Meyers Leonard/Chris Kaman
    SF: Wesley Matthews
    SG: Cj Mccallum
  17. Roy > Lillard
  18. As a Blazer fan this game gives me goose bumps and great memories. Sad what happened to Brandon Roy, he was on the verge of becoming a Superstar and the injuries derailed it. I remember watching this game and thinking he's back, but his knees couldn't hold up, so sad.
  19. still my favorite player, man... he was great!
  20. Honestly this Blazers team was the closest anyone got to beating Dallas that year even gave them more hell than Miami did these Blazers were probably 2nd best team in the league
