7. Really great advice! I am currently starting to create a capsule, but I'm taking baby steps. I divided my clothes into the four seasons, and I'm only allowing 50 hangers in my closet. Maybe after a year, and I can prune in down even more. Thanks for the tips!!!

12. i have very little pieces of clothing because I don't have the budget. So having a sort of capsule wardrobe, makes me appreciate being broke. lol! i'm actually excited for fall and winter because i will probably revamp my clothes.

14. Alli, you're great. For Twinklingtrees who gets joy out of getting dressed, but doesn't have a capsule it could be she's already organized so that everything goes together and doesn't alhave an overwhelming closet. Some people do this capsule thing without thinking, but most of us are helped by the idea. We know when we need a capsule -- or some sort of clear out. We start throwing clothes all over the bed every time we have to get dressed and feel like we have nothing to wear. :)
15. Something I love about a capsule wardrobe is that you select to keep only the things you absolutely love and that makes you happy. Since I just started mine this year, there's only a couple of items that I am starting to feel "meh" about. But when I go shopping now, I look for that 10/10 piece versus just buying the "6/10 because it somewhat fits but then never wear that often because it's just 'meh'." lol If that makes any sense! Really what I'm trying to say is that it is worth the effort to limit yourself to items you love then to have a big wardrobe of items you don't wear often because they are just "okay".
16. Having a closet full of stuff you never wear can feel really suffocating and anxiety inducing. You are so right! These are great answers, Alli!

18. I love how you connect the gratifying nature of setting up a capsule wardrobe as a way of coping with the issues connected to compulsive shopping. I'm trying to do the same, and be more conscious of where I purchase clothes, though I do admit I feel somewhat constricted by my size (16). But Ima keep trying! I love your videos!

20. Unfancy is such an inspiring blog, you're right about Caroline making a capsule wardrobe feel really attainable. I haven't made a capsule wardrobe for myself yet, and to be honest I'm not sure that I will in the near future. But I'm making more conscious purchases and my wardrobe def feels more cohesive than before. Into Mind is another really inspirational blog. Great video Alli, can't wait to see more of the q&a 😊
