  1. does an RV lite required any special license here in texas?...
  2. I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton 6 foot 6 inch bed will this trailer exceed my max weight ?
  3. The manufacturer is quick to state that the Gross Vehicle weight is within the payload capacity for our ½ Ton trucks but the dry (empty trailer) pin weight is near to or exceeds the maximum weight a ½ ton bed capacity.   Therefore, yes your truck can pull the weight but the 5th wheel system overloads the cargo capacity over the rear axle.
  4. The hitch seen in this slide show/video is a king combo hitch. It is a dual action hitch. The hitch can be used as a standard king pin. Or drop out the king pin adapter and the hitch is now ready to accept a goose-neck style of hitch.
  5. Ok what is the name of the song used in the video??????
  6. USA a chevy or a ram
  7. First of all, Never, ever pull ANY camper without the landing gear FULLY retratcted. If you have to jacknife your rig to get somewhere, you have a problem before you get there.
  8. Gotcha. Thanks for the response.
  9. DE3, The front queen bedroom is larger than what you perceive. You can maneuver around easily, as well as stand up while doing so. The slide out wardrobe provides you with additional storage as well. And if you need a bit of space on one side of the bed, the bed itself is designed to slide one way or the other. So do not be fooled by what you see on the outside. Remember never judge a book by its cover....to see the inside of the Open Range Light LF297RLS visit us at LerchRV.com.
  10. I'm having a hard time understanding why the need to make this trailer as a fifth-wheel. The over-bed portion is so small that it hardly seems worth it. Why not just make it a bumper-pull trailer?
  11. I have a drop in ball on my 04 screw, is there an adapter made for this setup? I'm new to this and hopefully within the next few years or so I'll be purchasing a camper. I hear a lot of trash talk on the 5.5 Foot beds and its kinda discouraging
  12. I've been watching most of wining fords, I'm really impressed.
  13. this is really good news. thanks a bunch. I really like the f150 and just cant want to upgrade to a larger truck. do you folks have showroom around the nations capital?
  14. Snoo, We have had great customer response to the Open Range Light product line up. And the majority of those customers tow with 1/2 ton trucks. The Open Range Light would be a perfect match for a new Ford.
  15. that should still be no problem with the new f150 ecoboot with can tow up to 11300. can you confirm this???? thanks
  16. @PALerchRV Do u know dry weight is for boats
  17. Tarantarans, Dry weight means a great deal. However the GVWR, which is the factory safety load rating on the axles, suspension system and tires, is 9,995 lbs.
  18. @ThisCouldBeParadise1 ... Well with the innovative work from Open Range, you can now use an F-150 to tow a fifth wheel.
  19. Excellent choice in truck!
  20. @sokodad Dry Weight: 7,465 lbs
