  1. fuck yes SEAN BEAN!
  2. I think the changes are good for drawing in more players
  3. RIP Spock, your narration has set the gold standard in Civ.
  4. Nuclear winter is coming.
  5. That end turn effect is kinda cool :) also fog of war is cool :) like in shogun 2 total war game
  6. After a fight the game immediately zooms somewhere else, so you can't see the result of a fight - that's ridiculous ;)
  7. aww, but I liked the social policy tree from 5 :(
  8. Lovely Preview. As long as it stays at the same quality level of enjoyment i don't mind these changes at all.
  9. Huh. That art style... I think I like it. Sort of. But it kind of makes the whole game look dead and lifeless, with muddled clumps of colour just kind of... there. EDIT: And they extend gameplay by making map movement excruciating? I mean, breaking both my legs would extend my trip around the park, but length of trip is not the only factor, developers. Christ.
  10. nice gameplay changes, but dat cartoonish graphics though...
  11. Excellent preview!
  12. I definitely think that changing builders to have charges is a lot better than having workers just hanging around. I often found myself sacking excess workers for the gold and lowering my upkeep in Civ 5.
  13. How do you not find the civics tree and government system better than what it is replacing? How do you not find customization for cities better than basically an empire of clones? I could go on...
  14. I mean Tom
  15. Great video thanks Evan
  16. But is there Map Trading?
  17. Fire Axes
  18. As someone who plays way to much civ, these are so many of the changes I have wanted since civ 2. Finally they are moving away from the science race. In civ 5 it doesn't matter how you planned to win you have to win science to do so. Good luck winning culture victory without any of the culture wonders because you discovered them to late. The civic tree sounds like a step in the right direction in this regard.

This feels to me like they are going back and picking up the things they forgot in civ 4 and improving on the best parts of civ 5, so excited for 6!
  19. This game may not turn out to be bad as I was expecting, but after the Beyond Earth cash grab I'll still wait for reviews instead of preordering though.
  20. i miss those cool ingame arts and illustrations and it looks like civ melted with settlers...
