Consumer Reports' 2016 Most Reliable Car Brands | Consumer Reports

We crunched data from the owners of more than 740,000 vehicles to find the most, and least, reliable car brands. Two trouble spots that caused problems for some brands were infotainment systems and recently developed transmissions. 1. Funny how my friend wishes he had a Subaru but says he wont get one cause they are shit. Meanwhile his honda scored less than Subaru... I think the real reason he dosen't want to get a Subaru is because he can't afford it XD
  2. americans complaining all day long about automatics oh jesus
  3. haha American car still suck!
  4. All are ugly cars.
  5. I know all new cars have tons of tech in them but when I think of car reliability i don't care if the Infotainment system is hard to use or if people are having trouble pairing their phones etc. I care about the actual reliability of the car itself. The drive train and major parts are what I look for. I hate when these surveys nitpick....well my ventilated seats don't get cold enough or my heated steering wheel doesn't get hot enough.
  6. Buy a Japanese or a German car and you'll be fine...
Sorry but American vehicles are for the rich people...
  7. Audi & Kia? BS? Well it's only for the year of 2016 but not a long term 5+ year review.
  8. VOLVO is #1
  9. I stand by my statement. American cars are crap.
  10. I closed the video when he said Audi is #3.
  11. I owned a Lexus IS250 and it was awful, burned oil at 30k, oil rings had to be replaced. I would go with another source other than CR!
  12. It would be nice if we heard what these "problems" with the Nissan CVTs were? I've owned three Nissans with CVTs, not a single problem, one had over 190,000 miles before it was totaled in an accident. I'm aware of the complaints some people have with these transmissions, things like they can't feel them shift, or they don't have the passing power of a traditional transmission. There's a lot of missinformation out there on CVTs. I had one guy tell me I had the same transmission as a snowmobile... that's like saying a 6 speed in a sports car is the same thing as a Mack 18 speed Maxitorque... but most people who read this will have no idea what that even is!

Seems to me most of the problems are the drivers, not the vehicles.
  13. My 2012 Ram 1500 is a piece of S !! Ignition issues left me dead on the road twice. AC plug in broke 3 times and I still have to be careful when I unplug my charger or all the guts pull out of it.
  14. Hell yeah, you can never go wrong with a Lexus or Toyota!
  15. My 2016 Toyota Corolla LE eco is a pile of junk I'm only at 25,000 miles and I'm already having front suspension issues, also it rattles like a pile of junk the interior is really noisy🔊
  16. love my lexus ls460l 2007 and my lexus ls430 2001 with 280000 miles!!!!!
  17. CR is as reliable as Audi.
    :D
  18. Try a Volvo 700 series....1.5 million miles..and still going...I guess 200000 seems like a lot to japanese cars..
  19. Toyota does make exciting vehicles...just have to look in the Lexus brand.
  20. I still have a 83 Plymouth reliant with nearly 2 million miles .. still running strong
