Custom Aluminum TURBINE Shotgun Slugs -Testing

We test out some aluminum, .70 caliber shotgun slugs that were CNC'd for us by Tim Hamilton. Tim is a prototype machinist and has access to some very sophisticated machine tools. Since so many viewers have told us that many of the rounds we have tested would have worked had they had some rifling or fins to stabilize them, Tim decided to see if this was true. Tim has other ideas like mini shotgun arrows. Just amazing stuff. Here is the video on how he made these turbine rounds. But check out some of his other videos too! TACTICAL G-CODE- (now called Ballistic Machinist) is the name of his channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/HamiltonCustomsinc?feature=hovercard

  1. Too bulky...
  2. you guys should shoot a honeycone designed bearing ball
  3. what about dimples? like a good ball
  4. Так она сука боком летит!!!
  5. Shorter length with being hollow fill with lead?
  6. wouldn't you need a rifled barrel for the rifling to work? I honestly don't know, so please don't go telling at me
  7. why do I watch these, none of these EVER work as good as a plain old lead slug, not even close!
  8. if slow mo guys slow mo that , it's be great
  9. Rifling the projectile does not work. The barrel is rifled because it cuts into the projectile, forcing it to turn. In this case, you're asking the air flow to spin the slug by some little slots cut into it. You'd be better off with pop-out stabilizer fins.
  10. When you lack rifled gun you can use rifled ammo. Kinda smart...
  11. good idea!
  12. THE HUMAN RACE IS JUST WONDERFULL !!!
  13. So many things wrong with that projectile lol... video made for views not science...
  14. turbin = headwear
turbine = the word your looking for
  15. rifling is n the barrel of the gun not the bullet
  16. What is happening is as the slug leaves the barrel there is enough gas to still push the back end of the slug. With the rifling, there is too much drag that slows the front of slug and you have the force pushing the slug which causes it to start tumbling. In short you can't have any drag on the front of slug or it will tumble due to the way it is accelerated.
  17. tail parachuting?
  18. Call of duty so cool 👍🏽
  19. Try marbles, the larest that fit through a full choke
  20. The barrel need to be rifled not the slug
