   Of course big cats purr. Just because they don't do it in captivity, or when you are around, doesn't make you an "expert". Humans are the dumbest animals on the planet.

20. I have three cats and the youngest (a female domestic shorthair) makes this weird sort of cooing/chirping sound almost like a pigeon. I've never heard another cat make that noise, buts it's super adorable!!
