border collie's are awesome. I trained my neighbors border collie to find weed. I would stash it in a toy and hide the toy throughout the yard and have her find it.

Vocabulary of a three year old? I was fluent in English and reading at three. This dog just about knows "toy", "ball" and "circle". And since the tape cuts, there's no telling how successful he was in his circle trial. That could've been the best of hundreds of attempts.
A well trained border collie can easily remember 200-300 words, and can understand pretty complex commands, like "take green ball and put it in the red basket". This video is really basic, and doesn't really show anything that we didn't know about dogs.

good trainer... there is not really such sympathy to dog over all other people and scientists which would made such long tests and stupid recognizing possible - it must be really good man, that such absolutelly crapy tasks are done such quickly and well. thumbs up
