  1. 5VS5 Champions!? PLS 5vs5 Heroes
  2. I bet it will go over 6 Million, I haven't finished upgrading my compendium yet so it will def get that high.
  3. The two problems with the compendium is that Valve is pocketing most of the money from something that is supposed to be the community supporting the pro scene, and they are exploiting tactics they learned from kickstarter.
The stretch goals are lackluster and easy to make, they are there just to get more money outside of the players, which would be fine if it's for a good cause like getting a bigger prize pool, but when they are pocketing 75% of the money it's just greedy. These millions are pocket change compared to the money they make from Steam.
That being said I contributed because I am a shill and I want the items they give.
  4. Great stuff, man. Love the editing.
  5. Valve never ceases to amaze me.  Can someone please tell me how to hate this company?  Valve has opened the flood gates for Dota 2 players to throw money at the International 4 Championship prize pool and we've delivered.  Already, players and enthusiasts of Dota 2 have handed over 4.7 million in a matter of days.  In return for $10, Valve rewards you with pretty pixels in Dota 2 to show off to your friends.  There's also a ton of interactive elements to the Compendium that makes the whole TI activity it's own game.

Valve has a final stretch goal of 6 million which, at this rate, seems very attainable.  Every year TI gets better and this year seems like it will not disappoint.  It's time for Dota 2 #hype.
