Dr Rebish excises a large cyst on the lower back

My husband, Dr Rebish, who is also a board certified dermatologist, removed this big cyst on the lower back of one of his patients. Since it had been inflamed before, there is scar tissue in the area, so there are adhesions and fibrous tissue in the area, which then requires that we make a wider excision, because it is not as simple to remove and ensure entire removal when there is scar tissue present or it has been irritated, or contents have been partially removed before. I think he did a great job , and it looks like it was removed in its entirety so it should likely not reoccur. Thank you for watching!! 1. Oh come on! The cyst was less than 1/4 of the incision! If he needs all that extra space maybe he should practice more. People are not your experiments! That hole is big enough to remove his kidney! Unacceptable form! Laziness.
  2. If I had a cyst that had been inflamed and that large I would want it All out. Can't imagine what the patient has gone thru as far as pain. Dr. R. I would want same procedure.
  3. your husband is DrpimpilePUNISHER he playes no games with that cyst. yanked the whole thing out πŸ˜‚

  9. Awesome Doc Rebbish!! I can't wait to see more of your work as well as your wife's work. You and your wife, Dr Sandra Lee, are both the absolute best! Sending you both love & big hugs from this Newfie gal from a small town called Lewisporte in Newfoundland, Canada πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
Our town was one of the places who whole-heartedly temporarily adopted our American brothers and sisters when 9/11 so tragically hit us all. Take good care! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ ❀
  10. Dr. Rebish, you are tooooo quiet!!! lol
  11. Good job...it was on his lower back so why would he care about the incision being larger. Interesting contrast wit Dr. Lee's approach.
  12. Dr Rebish is a very quiet man.

  14. isn't that a big incision
  15. at the beginning I was wondering why such a large incision. but now I can see why. that thing was huge. also great explanation as to why he went with a large one instead of a small one :)
  16. His stitches are beautiful. All symmetrical.
  17. Seeing his skin on top of the thing when he took it out freaked me out πŸ˜‚
  18. His comments about the guy feeling "papercuts" on the area makes me uncomfortable. Is Rebish there afraid of too much local anesthesia???
