EVERY Tacoma NEEDS THIS!

Adding G2 1.25'' wheel spacers to my 07 Toyota Tacoma. This is a simple and straight forward install. I did have to do some trimming but did not remove the whole liner. I think it looks cleaner this way.

1. alrighty I think the wider stance does look cool. but the biggest problem with wheel spacers is the extended angle puts a ton of stress on your wheel bearings, eating them alive. for some reason nobody is mentioning that.

5. Not only is it illegal in most states for your tires to extend past the fender its stupid and dangerous. The fenders keep debris from flying off the tires and hitting your vehicle AND other vehicles you share the road with. These wheel spacers place additional strain on the wheel bearings and steering components... you created a dangerous illegal vehicle with parts that will fail sooner because you wanted your truck to look good... hopefully a not so nice cop hands you a large ticket and impounds your truck for creating a danger on the highway.

13. as a professional auto tech, I can say that wheel spacers are a terrible idea. if you want to fit wider tires, you need to find wheels with an appropriate offset. wheel spacers not only add an unnecessary failure point, but can add stress to your hubs which will lead to early failure of the wheel bearings, and could also cause drive line issues as well. really the best bet is to simply leave your vehicle alone, or have it modified by an experienced professional who knows what supporting modifications are necessary.

19. please correct me if I am wrong, but I was under the impression that spacers arent very good for your truck, and that if you do want to widen your stance a bit you should get more offset rims.
    
    I had to get new rims when I upgraded tires and looked into spacers, which I declined.
