Factory Of The World : Biggest Factory (Discovery Channel)

Factory Of The World : Biggest Factory (Discovery Channel) Industry is 72.8% of China’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2005. Industry (including mining, manufacturing, construction, and power) contributed 46.8 percent of GDP in 2010 and occupied 27 percent of the workforce in 2007. The manufacturing sector produced 44.1 percent of GDP in 2004 and accounted for 11.3 percent of total employment in 2006. China is the world’s leading manufacturer of chemical fertilizers, cement, and steel. Prior to 1978, most output was produced by state-owned enterprises. As a result of the economic reforms that followed, there was a significant increase in production by enterprises sponsored by local governments, especially townships and villages, and, increasingly, by private entrepreneurs and foreign investors, but by 1990 the state sector accounted for about 70 percent of output. By 2002 the share in gross industrial output by state-owned and state-holding industries had decreased with the state-run enterprises themselves accounting for 46 percent of China’s industrial output. In November, 2012 the State Council of the People's Republic of China mandated a "social risk assessment" for all major industrial projects. This requirement followed mass public protests in some locations for planned projects or expansions. 1. We used to dream of such efficient factories - but they have them and we buy their high quality products. This is so, so biased against China. Every city in America is a city because of production - but now we are in terrible trouble and this nonsense will not stop the velocity of such evolution.
  2. Factory town was invented by England, France and of course the United States - such BS!
  3. chinese have successfully imitated an ant colony here.

  14. Why is the thumbnail for this the Boeing factory? This had nothing to do with Boeing
  15. Hard working Asians no wonder so many are successful in the Usa.
  16. Boeing Everett Factory is the BIGGEST ON THE PLANET STILL.
  17. the workaholic people on the planet. keep it up
  18. I don't know what you call them, stupid, slaves, cheap labours or whatever but I respect chinese workers. They are hard working and just because they are what they are. They are the reason even poors in entire world can keep various convenient products now days. Otherwise it would not have been affordable. Even more than half of american wouldn't afford to have a device at which you're seeing youtube if it wasn't manufactured by chinese. So respect before you spill shit out of mouth.

As far as quality is concerned you get what you pay for. Also quality isn't controlled by these poor robot workers but instead it depends on what is being ordered from them. If your brands wants quality they will give you quality too. The fact is most brands wants to get things and lowest possible costs so they don't want to pay higher than specific amount. At the end factories make compromise on material and labour safety and wages to meet the price restrictions. Who is to blame here?
  19. no wonder there quality is no good,,those worker don't care as long they paid....the world is rotten it's all about money you can't live without money....
  20. tobad there products are shit and don't last . oyu may all think this shits cool but if you think about it the company controls everyone
