This challenge requires 13 loaves to be baked from newly harvested wheat and the time is measured from the first movement of the combine harvester to the last loaf hitting the table from the baking tin. The attempt took place at Codham Hall Farm in Brentwood where a winning team consisting of Keith Woller, Tina Glen, Anna Perz and Robin Hackers worked together to harvest the grain, collect it, mill it, blend it with other ingredients, then divide the dough and finally bake the bread. The event was organised as part of the company’s initiative to raise £100,000 Great Ormond Street Hospital children’s charity.
