An KLM was taxing on the runway and the PAN AM behind the KLM. KLM boeing 747 made a 180 degrees turn on the runway and lined up. The KLM commander took off without permission and made an colission on the runway again the PAN AM While they taxied. At the day it was very foggy and low visibility at the airport. While KLM captains at the takeoff on runway they saw the Boeing 747 PAN AM and tried to lift off the runway to prevent a disaster. But it was to late and the Boeing 747 smashed into the PAN AM boeing 747 and caused a big diasaster at the airport. The most of the passengers died at the crash, only 61 passengers survived and 583 people died. this is the aviation biggest crash ever in the centruy. 3. first of all, a B747-400 should not have been used in this simulation. PH-BUF was a Boeing 747-206B. N636PA was a Boeing 747-121B. You even got the ATC transcripts wrong.
   
   I would suggest a completely redo, AFTER youve done complete research on movements of the aircraft, as well as correct ATC for both aircraft and not the Pan Am (Clipper Victor) dialogue for the Rijn (PH-BUF). Fail.

5. It is of course sad when these like this happen, it was avoidable. But it is from lessons learned from tragedies like this that air transport is amongst the safest form of transport.
