  1. I feel like the title implied that the tournament was in trouble or something. Considering a 6-seed won the title the year before, I'd say there was still plenty of madness before this Princeton-Georgetown game.
  2. 1:55 hahaha no homo but ima miss dick when he die he been covering ncaa from day 1 he seen every great player come out btw no homo
  3. where was the foul.
  4. dang.
  5. Georgetown should have run over Princeton with just talent. But it's hard to get up for Princeton after blowing through the Big East tournament. The greatest upset that almost was.
  6. Everybody knows that Princeton was more of an 8/9 seed than they were a 16. This really did save March Madness as we know it.
  7. This is one thing I want to see happen in my life time sports wise. Just once I would like to see a 16 upset a 1 in the Men's NCAA Tournament.
  8. I'll tell you another game that saved March Madness: March 21, 2010. Northern Iowa over Kansas

From 2007-2009, every 1 seed made the Elite Eight, and with the exception of Davidson in '08, they faced either a 2 or 3 seed. Very few large upsets took place after the occasional 12 or 13 in the first round. The tournament was getting predictable. Then this happened. A top-ranked Kansas team that had only lost two games all year didn't even make it to the Sweet 16, sparking a tournament where nothing was predictable, and we had a ton of upsets, even though a 1 seed did win it all. The next year was even crazier.
  9. I don't know if this game "saved" March Madness but I like the sentiment. I'm a fan from "Big Ten" country and I thought then and now that eliminating the small conference champs was a dumb idea. The major conferences send 5.....6 sometimes 7  teams. If you can't finish in the top 5 of your conference, you don't have any business being in the tourney anyway. That argument against the smaller conferences would have made more sense back when only one team per conference was selected.
