World cup gold medalist in team sprint cycling Robert Forstermann, AKA Quadzilla, showed off both his skills and his famous thighs in Berlin on Wednesday. The German athlete has been focused on cycling for about 12 years and has quite a few titles under his mighty thighs. The man of pure muscle has a top speed of 78kmph, which is perhaps too ambitious for the streets of Berlin, where drivers average about 30kmph in the city. At the moment Forstermann is training 14 times a week which also includes gym sessions: the athlete squats 280kgs and can leg press up to 640kgs. Reports say his thighs measure between 28 to 34 inches in diameter. The bike Forstermann rides weighs 6.8kgs and is constructed with an advanced carbon fibre frame. Each bike costs about €20,000 ($27,000) and is personalised for the rider by height and weight.
